Worthless Idols

Jonah 2:8 states "Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs". My pastor gave this message on Sunday while speaking about "Idols of the Heart" and it convicted me to investigate what those idols in my life might be. I realized all of the worthless idols I've built up over my life time that, as Jonah put it, are causing me to "forfeit the grace that could be mine". I pray that this verse is the life changing verse in my life that I need it to be -- and I ask that you pray with me as I tear down those idols and give glory to God.
