2008 off to a GREAT start!!!

Unfortunately my little guy Sammy had had enough of his picture taken so the picture only includes three of my precious babies!
It's the second day of the month and I've accomplished the two things that I wanted to. I joined the YMCA and got my library card. These may not seem like big accomplishments, but I've been putting them off for long enough and really wanted to get them done. On the list for tomorrow... TN driver's license and car registration.
I know that this time of year fills us all with hope of what the new year holds -- the hope that this year will be different than the last.... that this will be the year that you don't break your resolutions. I really want to look back on this year with satisfaction both of what I've accomplished and who I have become -- I'm starting a diet b/c this is the year that I stop denying that I'm overweight, I'm going to read more and watch less tv.... I'm going to not be such a hermit -- or at least use my hermiting time wisely. :-) Maybe this is the year of my great artistic masterpiece.
Well -- all that to say I'm excited about what this year holds. Oh, and another long-awaited accomplishment... updating my blog! yay!

Oh, I so wish Sammy was in there! But it's a great picture-even without him. :)
Nicely done on the Y and the library. You're off to a good start. Hopefully it will be a good year for the whole family!
*hugs*

Hi Lauralin!

I loved your letter! Thanks for the update. Sarah also sent me a link to the family photos and they were FABULOUS! What a neat gift idea for the whole family.

I enjoy your blog and I'm glad that you are keeping it updated. Could you even imagine one year ago that you'd be where you are now? And just think about where you'll be in another year! Exciting, isn't it? I'm so glad you're enjoying TN... we all miss you up here in NJ!

Warmest Wishes for 2008,
HUGS -- Shara
