No TV... What was I Thinking?

Ok.... as mentioned earlier in the year... on this very blog, I have decided to give up my tv. The truth is, I haven't really missed it. If I want to see a specific show I just watch in online for free, or if I feel like vegging on a Saturday I watch a video. But right now .... at this exact time in history I am regretting my decision for nothing other than the Olympics. I hate the fact that I won't get to see Michael Phelps make history, that I will only be able to read about it... :-( Once the Games are over, I will go back to my content self without a tv, but for now I wallow in my sorrow!

Say Goodbye to Hollywood

Ok -- so for a very long time I've known that my TV has been in charge of my life. Moving to Nashville and becoming acquainted with DVR was the final step in the mind control it had.

Well, I've broken free -- I have discontinued cable and will be removing both televisions from my home -- Hollywood will no longer determine how I spend my evenings.

This decision has just earned me $100/month plus the endless hours I have had returned to me to do with as I please .... let the reading begin!
