Generations of Kindred Spirits

This picture of is Brynna Avery Nicole Gilbert -- the daughter of one of my dearest friends. Her mama, Keri Gilbert, and I have been friends since we were only a little bit older than Brynna.

I've been blessed by my friendship with Keri over the years -- we attended camp together, went to college together for a while, I lived with her in TX, and we have managed to see each other at least once a year (3 this year) for as long as I can remember. Her family is like family and I've made some other fabulous friendships just by knowing her.

Now I've had the pleasure of getting to know her little girl -- and have the joy of knowing that as our families continue to grow -- her children and mine (or my nieces at this point) will be friends for years to come and will continue the tradition of friendship that has been established over the years.

Thank you Keri for your friendship, for the wonderful visit in Texas that I had, and for the years of memories to come.
