Reasons I love the South.... take 1

After having lived in the Northeast for so many years, I've had to learn a completely new way of living in Nashville. Things have come up that are SO not typical of what I'm used to and I think I'll share them as they come up.

I went to lunch today with my designer and I got out of his truck to go into the restaurant he says to me "Make sure the window's rolled up, my shot gun is in the back".

Perhaps only if you are a Yankee will you understand how out of the norm this is for me. :-)

Did he have his squirrels for dinner back there too or was he planning on "shopping" later?

sBeing from Texas I know exactly what you're talking about! ha ha When we were searching for a house I couldn't believe the homes in NJ didn't have what we refer to in the south as "the gun closet". Everyone has one! Michael won't let me get a gun.... I'm still trying to convince him otherwise.
